A New Relationship, the Same Great Program Supporting Local Students
The Whatcom Community Foundation was established in 1996 to provide financial and technical support to the numerous nonprofit organizations working to make Whatcom County an even better place to live, work and play. The Foundation Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to announce that Bellingham Dollars for Scholars (BDFS) and Ferndale Dollars for Scholars (FDFS) have merged to form Whatcom Dollars for Scholars.
The same dedicated, skilled BDFS and FDFS Board of Directors members will now serve as Scholarship Fund Advisory Committee Members for Whatcom Dollars for Scholars. All of us are dedicated to the same important goal: giving the gift of opportunity to students.
